Year 6 Mental Addition and Subtraction.
Play the mental game below. Do NOT use a calculator (otherwise it wouldn't be a mental game, would it!)
Write a ‘journal’ on the forum (click the link below the mental game) as to which level(s) you tried and how successful you were. Explain which strategies you used the most and why. (Extension: How did you choose which strategy to use? Give specific examples.)
Challenge – see how many correct answers you can get of your chosen level in 2 minutes. Post your result on the forum (make sure you say which level you did so others can try and beat you). Only use the forum applicable to your class and when posting a message use your proper name - you do not need to add your email address.
