Day 3 - Monday 10th March 2008
Dear Mums and Dads,
We had great fun last night ice-skating - it was a chance to show off our crazy hats and for Lara to demonstrate how to pirouette!
But boy, was it a cold one today! -5C at the top of La Chaux and a gusting wind so we had to make sure that we wrapped up warm.....We've had another good day of skiing, some of us progressing into improved groups followed by some shopping in the afternoon and the evening quiz of Boys v Girls.
Any ideas of who's going to win?! Another action-packed day - can't wait for it to snow tomorrow.
More later......Care Bear of the Day was awarded to Paige Stephen who looked after one of her group who was feeling tired and also voted for someone else to be awarded with the Care Bear for helping her! How caring is that!
Crab of the Day was awarded to Bradley McAdam Clark who tried to leave the button lift early (unsuccessfully).
Parents - How well do you know your child?

Day 4 - Tuesday 11th March 2008
Dear Mums and Dads,
Fantastique! It was snow, snow, snow today! We’ve never skied whilst it was snowing before – definitely better than Ski Dubai! Lots of fresh, powdered snow to plough through and make new tracks. Lara even said “I’ve never had so much fun!”.
We’re all feeling a bit tired though and looking forward to a lie-in tomorrow. Some of us even had a snooze at the dinner table tonight! The only trouble is that the weather makes it very tricky for Miss Riley and Mrs Shaddick to take photographs.
Last night was great fun and guess what? The girls beat the boys – now we’re looking forward to the disco tomorrow night and getting our dancing shoes on……
Care Bear of the Day was awarded to Perle for helping other friends who fell down during skiing and picking them up.
Crab of the Day was awarded to Lara who has had a constant smile on her face since she arrived and is a pleasure to be around.
